The Community Arts and Crafts magazine was based in Topeka, Kansas, and published by The College Press from 1928 through 1929.   The magazine was published with the subtitle  The Western Art Magazine and is sometimes referenced with this title.

Seward wrote a series of three articles about prints - collecting, caring for and displaying a collection of prints, and suggestions for starting a print collection.  He then wrote a very informative article about a book on the history of wood engravings. As a group these articles demonstrate Seward’s wide knowledge of his subject matter.  Each article is illustrated with prints loaned by his many peers throughout the United States.
